Emmerdale viewers were not impressed with Kerry Wyatt during Friday's episode of the ITV soap, as she vowed to make Brenda Walker pay for leaving ex Dan Spencer in hospital.
Dan was rushed to hospital after suffering an allergic reaction, before falling over and injuring his back.
He has a nut allergy, and wasn't aware a wrap he ate from Brenda's café contained almond milk.
While she knew about his severe allergy, she forgot to check the back of the salad dressing before putting it in the wrap.
Unaware of the nut traces in the food, Dan ate it before becoming unwell and going into anaphylactic shock.
Kerry had suspicions about Brenda being involved, as she desperately covered her tracks.
She even tried to pin the blame onto Wendy, who had given Dan some pills for a hangover before the incident, but this didn't work out.
After being berated by Eric Pollard, Brenda decided to confess the truth to Dan and Kerry and revealed she was to blame.
Both characters were furious, with Kerry desperate to make sure Brenda was exposed before calling her out for almost killing Dan.
Brenda explained it was a mistake, but Kerry seemed adamant that it was unforgivable.
But viewers were a little confused, given just months ago Kerry actually caused the death of someone else.
Fans hit out at the character for being so hard on Brenda when last year, in August, she caused the fire that killed Frank Clayton and kept quiet about it.
Taking to Twitter, one fan said: "#Emmerdale so they really do want us to forget Kerry killed Frank & just want us to go back to thinking, ah it's just Kerry."
Another tweeted: "Have the script writers just forgotten that Kerry killed Frank?"
A third added: "Shut up Kerry you murdered Frank. We haven't forgotten."
Meanwhile a fourth said: "Is Kerry forgetting she was responsible for someone’s death?"
Emmerdale airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm on ITV.
