Emmerdale actress Karen Blick looks worlds away from Lydia Dingle in her latest Instagram update.
The actress uploaded a selfie on Sunday after undergoing a glamorous makeover. Karen has played Lydia in Emmerdale since 2016, and has featured in a number of dramatic storylines in that time.
In the fictional Yorkshire village Lydia has a fairly plain look, working as a cleaner.

But in her latest social media post, Karen looks fantastic, having had her hair and makeup done professionally. Karen can be seen wearing a pretty floral dress in the photo.
Captioning the snap, she also teased "something special" coming soon, and tagged fellow Emmerdale star James Hooton, who plays her on-screen husband Sam Dingle.
Karen said: "Great morning at work today filming something special with @hootonjames for @emmerdale thank you @jessica_orourke1 for fabulous hair and make up! #emmerdale #hairandmakeup Happy Sunday X"
Lisa Riley, who plays Mandy in the soap, said: "Love and Love…..hope you had as much fun as we did", to which Karen replied: "We had a blast! Really enjoyed it and laughed a lot".
Fans also rushed to the comments section, with many swooning over Karen's new look. Chantelle said: "Looking AMAZING!! I love your dress", while Jan said: "Beautiful photo".
Ruthie said: "You look gorgeous", and Dave added: "Looking fab Karen".
