Emmerdale fans spotted a massive underwater blunder when an explosion appeared to kill Nate Robinson.
After Nate dropped the massive bombshell that Cain is his father, in scenes that could have come out of a Star Wars movie, Moira was knocked into the lake during the commotion.
When she failed to reappear form beneath the dark water, Cain was forced to rescue her because Nate confessed that he could not swim.
Cain kissed his motionless wife and brought her back to life, but struggled to untangle her feet from the weeds.
During his second dive down he managed to get Moira free, but before they reached the surface there was a massive explosion.

Emmerdale viewers were left wondering whether Nate was alive - but could not understand how Moira had managed to survive.
Taking to Twitter , one viewer said: "Well done Moira 15 minutes without breathing!"
"And she was holding her breath all that time. Oh dear. This really is TV for mouth breathers," added another.
A third said: "Moira, the little mermaid. She can certainly hold her breath for a long time whereas in real life she’d be dead."
"Has Moira got gills or something? Think she just broke a world record," said a fourth.

The petrol canister had been leaking and a huge explosion ripped through the boat when it collided with the flame from the cooker.
When Cain and Moira came out of the water they were surrounded by bits of the demolished boat floating around them.
Moira started screaming for Nate but there was no response or sign of her younger lover anywhere.

Wanting to swim away, Cain said: "Nobody has survived that. Even if he’s got off that boat...he’s dead."
The pair started swimming back to shore but Maura suddenly spotted Nate floating on a bit of debris.
However, Cain wanted to leave his newly discovered son to die in the open water.
Horrified Moira said: "Cain, please. If he is your son you’ve got to help him. You can’t leave him there just to die."

Cain eventually relented and swam over to injured Nate and told him to open his eyes.
Giving his son a worrying warning, Cain said: "You’re not going to die...today."
Cain dragged Nate to shore and into the arms of Moira, then decided to leave the pair to fend for themselves.
Moira shouted at Cain to stay but he got in the car and drove off - leaving them alone on the lakeside with no way of getting to safety.
