Emmerdale viewers were quick to spot a huge blunder as Marlon was rushed to hospital after suffering another major health blow.
During tonight’s episode of the ITV soap Rhona is nervous about leaving Marlon on his own again, particularly when she notices he has a cough.
However, Marlon insists that he’s fine and he’s happy for her to go to work. Meanwhile Bear planned to get Marlon out and about so he doesn’t get bored.
Bear and Liam went on to take him to the allotment in his wheelchair for a change of scene and some fresh air. Mary wasn’t fully onboard with the idea but agreed that it might do Marlon good.
However once they get there it is clear that Marlon isn’t feeling well as he begins to cough and struggles to breathe - it was clear it wasn’t going to get any better so Liam suggests he drives him to the hospital.
Bear is mortified about how the day has turned out and once Rhona found out about the news she wasted no time and rushed to the hospital.
In the hospital, Rhona is worried when she learns Marlon has developed aspiration pneumonia however she tries to pretend that she is keeping things together but Marlon can see the concern in Rhona’s eyes that his condition is worse than she’s letting on.
While Marlon fights for his life viewers were quick to spot and question why he didn’t have a care team visit him at home with some viewers sharing their personal experiences.
