Emmerdale fans spot huge error as Chloe gives birth and work out baby is 'not Mackenzie's'

Emmerdale fans flocked to social media as they think they spotted an error during Chloe Harris' birth scenes. In scenes aired in the ITV soap earlier this week, Chloe's waters broke while she was enjoying a pamper night with Sarah Sugden.

It was up to Matty Barton to whisk them to the hospital where he almost ended up being her birthing partner as they couldn't get hold of her sister, and Matty's girlfriend, Amy Wyatt. During Thursday night's hour-long edition of Emmerdale, viewers saw Sarah had to leave Chloe as her gran Charity Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd's wedding was set to go ahead.

The nuptials were thrown into jeopardy when the couple were arrested for being in a stolen van, a replica from the TV series The A-Team, which Moira Dingle had helped Charity track down as a wedding gift to Mack. In the end, with PC Swirling's surprising help, the couple made it to the church in time for Charles Anderson to make them husband and wife.

But Mack almost appeared to get cold feet when Sarah revealed that Chloe was in labour, with Charity unaware that Mack is the secret father of the baby following a one-night-stand between the pair last year.

Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Chloe welcomed her baby boy into the world, when she was joined by a mystery visitor after she demanded to send a text on her phone. But it was soon revealed that Amy was finally there to support her.

But as Chloe was brought face-to-face with her son for the first time, who she named Reuben, Emmerdale fans couldn't help but comment on social media as they think they spotted a couple of big blunders. @helen_ambler tweeted: "#emmerdale Chloe's baby didn't appear to be attached to the placenta! Either that or the cord cutting was done faster than the speed of sound."

@UndecidedMs commented; "So Chloe had a bump the size of someone 6m pregnant then gives birth to a baby the size of a 3m old #Emmerdale." @Daz0289 added: "Chloe was like pregnant for like six months? now she's actually gave birth and the baby looks almost six months old already!!! #Emmerdale."

And they're convinced hat means the baby isn't Mack's. @JacksMum3006 said: "Hang on a mo. Mack cheated on Charity on September 1st. So if Chloe's baby isn't visibly premature, then it's not Mack's! Because she's only 7¹/² months gone! #Emmerdale."
