Emmerdale viewers were left unimpressed at Meena's 'ridiculous’ hostage scene as the killer caused major chaos in the courthouse.
During tonight's episode of the ITV soap Meena had just been told she had been found guilty of all three murders of Leanna Cavanagh, Ben Tucker and Andrea Tate.
And in true Meena style she delivered quite the performance, portraying herself as the victim and desperately trying to convince the jury that Charles, Liam and Manpreet needed to be behind bars instead.

It all started when Carol - the sister of Nadine got into a heated argument as Nadine’s death was never ruled as suspicious, but Carol has always been convinced Meena killed her.
Carol decided to get her revenge by attacking the killer with a shard of glass which led to an outburst from Meena who was then holding the courtroom hostage, warning that if anyone tries to escape, she will cut Manpreet’s throat.
It all continued as Meena instructed Liam to take the stand again as she questioned him about their 'affair'.
Liam tried to use this moment to his advantage, pushing Meena to confess to Leanna’s murder but she ended up grabbing Manpreet and attempted to escape.
But she was unable to as Ian the prison guard failed to unlock the door to her escape route, meaning Meena was taken away by armed police.
However, viewers were quick to point out a strange moment which left them baffled as Charles recorded the majority of the chaotic scene on his phone but mobiles aren’t allowed in a courtroom. That would be contempt of court and we've seen judges halt proceedings in real trials when a phone is pulled out.
