A new character joined the cast of Emmerdale last night as Kyle Pryor took on the role of Darren.
But fans were made up while watching as they recognised the actor from elsewhere. The well known face was formerly on Home and Away playing the role of Nate Cooper before moving on to Hollyoaks to play Laurie Shelby.
Viewers saw Vinny Dingle thrashing Jimmy King during a casual game of poker, leaving a beady eyed Will Taylor impressed with his skills. Will later suggested that the pair join him for a game at the pub with high-stakes, and it doesn't take long for word to get round as Ryan Stocks, David Metcalfe and Mackenzie Boyd all get involved too.

That's when charming newcomer Darren arrived at The Woolpack and showed an interest in the game. But could Vinny's new found interest in gambling become a problem?
Fans were delighted to see the familiar face on their screens one more and took to Twitter to share their elation. Jo said: "As if Dr Nate Cooper from Home and Away.... I mean Kyle Pryor is now in Emmerdale."
Another user said: "Loved seeing @kyleipryor back on my screen making his debut as Darren, liking this storyline already. Can’t wait to see what’s coming up."
A third added: "Oh it’s Nate off of Home & Away #Emmerdale."
