Emmerdale aired the moment a mystery character shoved villain Caleb Miligan off of a cliff edge on Thursday night, with him left lifeless in the woods.
The villain was pushed from behind and sent falling to the ground below, screaming out in fear.
It seems he got a glimpse of his attacker too, as he turned around just as they approached him and barely a second before he was pushed.
Caleb was left bloodied and motionless at the bottom of the cliff, and fans did not see who did it - but more than one suspect was immediately put in the frame.
It followed a day of reckoning for Caleb, as residents turned on him after his plan against Kim Tate came to light - and the Dingles felt betrayed over his lies.
Caleb didn't exactly help matters as he began taunting several residents and making himself a number of enemies.
Moira, Cain, Will, Mackenzie and Leyla were some of the residents who Caleb mocked and said some pretty awful things about, as he lashed out.
Several of them made comments about him getting what was coming to him, and then four characters appeared to go AWOL around the time of the incident.
Cain, Will, Mack and Leyla all returned home to be confronted by another character having been missing for some time.
But viewers believe they've worked out exactly who pushed Caleb and why, taking to Twitter to share their theories.
They key name being repeated was Nicky, with viewers convinced he had sought revenge against the villain for his recent antics.
One viewer said: "I still think it will have been Nicky that pushed him."
Another tweeted: "Nicky is my pick for who pushed Caleb off the cliff."
A third fan said: "I reckon Nicky pushes his dad."
Meanwhile, a fourth viewer commented: "So I think it's Caleb's son who pushed him over. Who do you guys think?"
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
