Emmerdale fans slam 'wooden' Al's love triangle with Kerry and Priya

It's been a hectic week for Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) as while he's entered a new work partnership with Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper), his relationship with Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) is now teetering on the rocks.

Earlier in the week, Emmerdale viewers saw ex Priya Kotecha (Fiona Wade) open up to Al about the body confidence issues she's been facing after the serious burns she sustained in the maze fire.

It led to a charged moment between the two, resulting them locking lips. Unfortunately for Al, enemy Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) overhears the two promising to keep it quiet and decides to spill the beans to Kerry.

Slamming Al as 'wooden' viewers seem confused the two women are fighting over him, unable to see the appeal. Taking to Twitter to share their thoughts, comments came flooding in.

@deanobeanos didn't hold back, writing: "What does Al have, not his personality that's for certain. Wooden plank #Emmerdale" @realgmg67 agreed: "Al's, got about as much sex appeal as oak blown down by a hurricane! #Emmerdale".

@salhypes continued, slamming the character: "Al dominates storylines far too much for a character who never develops and is about as interesting as an Aldi’s own brand crisp." @iluvbatfink added: "Can any of the #Emmerdale production team not see just how wooden 'Al' is! It's shocking."
