Emmerdale fans have come up with a huge conspiracy theory following Amelia Spencer's shock pregnancy announcement.
Last night's episode left viewers reeling when it became apparent that the 15-year-old's dizzy spells and blurred vision had nothing to do with the syrup she had been taking to change her weight. A trip to the hospital revealed the real reason for her health issues with many now wondering who the baby daddy is.
Some are convinced it could be Noah Dingle, currently locked up for stalking, others have their money on Samson Dingle. Viewers have pointed out Noah being the father could be immensely problematic as he is 18 and Amelia still a minor.
Ryan Glendenning said: "If the baby is Noah's I'll be physically sick. He's a perv and would of got a 15 year old girl pregnant."
Georgia wrote: "If Noah is the father of Amelia’s baby he will be in even bigger trouble! She’s 15 and he’s 18!"
This has led some to come up with the theory that Amelia is not actually pregnant and that "bosses got it wrong".
Elizabeth Edwards wrote: "Amelia not pregnant because I think they got it wrong like Faye from Coronation Street."
After tonight's episode viewers also poked fun at Amelia for going to church and questioning God why he "made her pregnant". Many pointed out that it wasn't His doing unless she was "the next Virgin Mary".
Owen wrote on Twitter: "Don't think it was God, Amelia."
Shodan joked: "Amelia is actually pregnant with God’s baby. It’s the immaculate conception and a soap first to feature the birth of Christ."
Beth said: "Amelia blaming God for being pregnant is killing me. Does she think she’s Mary?"
Amelia also visited Noah in prison and admitted that she had been taking the syrup to change her looks. However, she did not tell him about the pregnancy.
At the end of the episode a pregnant Amelia was evicted by a vengeful Gabby for dropping baby Thomas and causing social services to show up at her door.
