Emmerdale fans 'screaming' as they 'work out' Charity's next move

Emmerdale viewers said they were "screaming" at their television screens during Monday's first instalment.

Charity Dingle's son, Ryan, was given some heartbreaking news, but she wasn't there to comfort him.

With her ex Vanessa Woodfield's return to the village, she actually managed to make things worse.

While Ryan received news that his adoptive mum had died, his biological mum enjoyed a playdate with Vanessa and their boys - and was dressed to the nines for the occasion.

As Charity and Vanessa reminisced, Charity was enjoying herself so much she rejected a call from boyfriend Mackenzie.

In fact, Vanessa also seemed to be having a good time, as the pair spoke fondly of their past.

Charity told her: "You were the best of the bunch".

And many soap fans found their chemistry undeniable.

While Charity is now with Mack, many viewers think they have worked out what will happen next - and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

Lydz Revreg said: "Vanity back together I am screaming!"

Ben Church said: "Charity and Vanessa will be back together in no time #Emmerdale"
