Emmerdale fans believe Charles Anderson missed an obvious clue he was being played by serial killer Meena Jutla.
Charles has secretly been visiting the killer, believing he might convince her to confess to the murders of Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate and Ben Tucker.
He hinted he was only seeing her for this reason to Harriet Finch who warned him to be careful, amid fans fearing he will be manipulated.
But fans already know Meena is up to something, not believing for a second that she is seeking God's forgiveness like she claims.
Meena suggested the only thing for her now would be to repent her crimes, and she told Charles she needed his help for this.
While it seems he's tricking her into a confession, it did seem as though he believed she was after forgiveness as she opened up about her past.
But viewers suggested he missed a very obvious clue right in front of his eyes, that Meena was faking it all.
Meena sobbed as she sought help and claimed she wanted to repent, telling Charles he was her last hope.
But viewers noticed, aside the obvious dramatics act, she was once again holding a different side of her body while claiming to be in pain.
Meena was pushed off a bridge by Liam Cavanagh and almost died, after suffering a broken rib and a punctured lung.
While it wasn't really specified which side of her body was injured, Meena has been holding both her left and right side, alternating each episode it seems.
Viewers noticed this week that Meena went from holding her right side to her left side in different scenes, and believed there was an error in continuity.
But now fans are convinced it's intentional and is all a part of Meena's act, faking being in pain to trick Charles into believing she might be vulnerable.
The fact that Charles failed to notice her changing where she placed her hand also left many fans convinced he had failed to see an obvious clue to her games.
With her lying about the injury and clearly lying about wanting forgiveness, fans believed Charles needed to be careful.
One fan tweeted: "Why’s #Meena still holding her side? For sympathy?! #Charles."
Another said: "Meena grabbing the other side of her ribs again. Charles, she's bulls******g Emmerdale."
