Emmerdale's Chloe Harris betrayed her boyfriend Noah Dingle during the latest visit to the Dales, as she slept with Jacob Gallagher.
But could Chloe be the mystery character who will welcome a baby on the ITV soap later this year?
Spoilers confirmed the pair would have sex in upcoming scenes, with Noah set to be left devastated by the news.
While the bombshell is yet to be revealed, the latest episode saw Chloe going back to the teen's house where one thing will lead to another.
At the start of the episode, Chloe and Noah came across a grieving Jacob near the allotments, after the discovery of killer Meena Jutla's trophy box.
The contents included the engagement ring Jacob gave to his late girlfriend Leanna Cavanagh before she was murdered by Meena, who went on to steal the ring.
Meena kept tokens from all her murders and attempted murders in a box, and this was found in the allotments this week.
While Meena's crimes had previously been exposed, this was the proof needed to charge her with the crimes.
Jacob was devastated about the ring, knowing Meena likely stole it from her when she was already dead, and memories of Leanna left him heartbroken.
Chloe did her best to comfort him as Noah fumed about them missing their cinema date, leading to him storming off.
But as Chloe spent the day with Jacob, he soon asked her to stay with him that night because he didn't want to be alone.
Now, some fans have questioned if she will fall pregnant with his baby in later scenes.
Taking to Twitter, one fan said: "Jacobs just knocked up Chloe ain’t he? And that’s the baby that’s born during the 50th anniversary month (how underwhelming)."
Other fans were in agreement too, believing they had worked out the twist, with a viewer saying: "Oh Jacob if you get Chloe pregnant you will be in for a world of pain."
A third fan asked: "Who is pregnant, Chloe by Jacob or Amelia by Noah?"
Soap bosses recently confirmed that at some point this year, a character will learn they are pregnant - while details are being kept under wraps.
The baby is set to arrive during the soap's 50th anniversary later this year, but will it be Amelia facing a big surprise?
Speaking to The Mirror and other press, executive producer Jane Hudson teased: "There will be a new baby arriving in Emmerdale before the end of the year.
"I think that's not giving anything away as there are so many female characters in the show, but there will be a new arrival before the year is out.
"There's probably going to be a birth in the anniversary month perhaps!
"Babies in soaps are either born on programme celebrations or Christmas so there's going to be one of those happening."
