Emmerdale fans have been left puzzled as hardly anyone showed up to Dawn Taylor and Billy Fletcher's wedding.
The pair finally tied the knot during the ITV soap's Monday episode, much to the delight of the other village residents that had gathered to help them celebrate their big day.
However, fans were left distracted by the fact that only a few people showed up to help celebrate the pair's nuptials.
The duo seemed anxious in the church as they said their 'I dos', continually asking the vicar to hurry up with proceedings as they waited for any objections to be announced.
However, it was the lack of guests at the event that left viewers most confused - as only Marlon Dingle, Will Taylor - Dawn's father - and police officer Harriet were there to celebrate the pair's big day.
"Why do they need a cake?, about 5 people there ffs #emmerdale," one wrote.
A second added: "There's nobody at the wedding for goodness sake #Emmerdale," as a third penned: "A major wedding in the village. A handful of people in the church. Feels all a bit lack lustre considering all the people she murdered #Emmerdale."
"Not many guests getting ready to attend or even mentioned it considering they all know each others business," a fourth said.
A fifth wrote: "Did you forget the guests Emmerdale when you were writing this stupid story?" with a sixth taking to Twitter to question: "Did some invites get lost in the mail #emmerdale?"
Later on in the episode, Will Taylor explained his girlfriend Kim Tate's absence at the wedding, insisting she was feeling unwell - but fans couldn't believe no one else made it there for the event.
It comes after actress Olivia Bromley teased Dawn could be the one to bring Meena down.
"At some point she has got to get caught, she has got to get caught obviously," the actress teased, "Well exactly, Dawn is a fighter. I think Dawn could be the one... well who knows? You will have to wait, I am not gonna give anything away.
"If anyone is gonna fight for her life it is Dawn. She has been through so much in her life and at this time she has finally got Billy, and she has got the family unit she's really excited about."
*Emmerdale continues tomorrow at 7pm on ITV.
