Emmerdale fans are predicting Rishi and Manpreet will reunite as the actors shared a behind-the-scenes filming snap.
The estranged couple have had a rough few months in their own lives but viewers of the ITV soap are hopeful that Rishi Sharma (Bhasker Patel) and Dr Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) will reunite soon in a happy storyline.
Rishi recently collapsed with heart trouble after finding out the extent of his son Jai Sharma's (Chris Bisson) lies about his finances whilst Manpreet has been subjected to a terrifying ordeal at the hands of her own sister Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu).
Fans of the ITV soap are now calling for Manpreet and Rishi to reunite after Bhasker shared a sweet snap of the pair.
"A day in the country with @rebeccasarker @ emmerdale @itv #sharmadrama," he wrote alongside the photo.
Fans rushed to the comments as they begged for the pair to get back together, with one writing: "I wish you both could get back together in Emmerdale," as a second added: "Ahhhhhhhh .... great pic .... you and manpreet make a lovely couple lol"
Others praised the duo's acting skills as they commented on the pic.
"Great actors lovely pic bhasker," one wrote, as a second shared: "Aww beautiful souls two beautiful smiles. Love this photo."
A third shared: "I love your character so much in emmerdale got really worried they was going to kill you off so glad they didn’t ! I would of stopped watching your amazing brilliant actor, so glad you're okay."
A few days ago, Bhasker shared another snap of him and Rebecca in character as they clung onto each other.
"Now take my Right Arm, let’s have a pint & refresh PLUS reboot! @rebeccasarker @emmerdale #throwback," he captioned it.
Meena held her sister hostage in terrifying scenes on the ITV soap, as Rebecca previously opened up about the relationship between Manpreet and her evil sibling.
"Manpreet knows that her sister is a pathological liar, number one, she’s betrayed Manpreet so many times. There’s been that debacle with the texts and Charles, completely blew Charles and Manpreet’s relationship or chance for a relationship wide open," she said.
"She knows that her sister is capable of lying, of betrayal, of being a nasty piece of work, but she doesn’t know she’s capable of murder and Manpreet would be absolutely horrified to even go there."
