Emmerdale viewers have mocked Noah Dingle's efforts to escape from the village as they called on him to finally take responsibility for his actions.
Friday night's episode began with Charity frantically searching for her son after she discovered he had lied about going to see a friend for a BBQ the night before. Thursday night's instalment of the much-loved show culminated in Noah grabbing a packed holdall and walking off into the sunset after earlier pleading guilty to harassing Chloe.
The dramatic exit left some fearing Noah was running away from his problems for good, and some feared he was thinking about taking his own life, but viewers soon discovered he had not managed to get very far.

After briefly speaking to Charity as she darted around the village looking for her son, Belle heard a rustling in a nearby barn and opened the door to find a startled Noah. "Where do you think you're going?" she said.
"Away from this village," Noah replied. A heated discussion then followed between the pair with Belle finally convincing Noah to report to the police station, in line with his bail conditions.
But viewers were left unimpressed by Noah's efforts to escape as they called on him to take responsibility for what he has done. "After all the closing hype yesterday with Noah walking off into the sunset, he's shacked up in some shed? Wow, blinder," said @ASuperGav.
"Thought Noah was running away? He didn't run very far ffs!" added @JamesDawson911. Others failed to see the funny side of his efforts to flee. "If Noah had any scruples at all he would face the consequences of his actions & show genuine remorse," said @Rosepetal98.
"Stop feeling sorry for yourself Noah and face the consequences of your actions," added @RyanGSoapKing11.
