Emmerdale viewers are begging David to tell Liam about Leyla’s drug problem but he’s got plans of his own.
David recently found out about Leyla’s drug problem when he walked in on her about to do a line of coke. As expected David wasn't fooled when Leyla lied that it was a one-off.
During tonight’s episode of the ITV soap Leyla was left terrified when David asked to meet her husband Liam. Worried he was going to spill her secret she managed to put Liam off from meeting him until later.

However when she confronted David, he explained that he merely wanted the doctor's advice over son Jacob Gallagher, who is about to begin a medical degree.
It wasn’t long until David then heard about Suzy’s confession over the drugs in the office was actually a cover up for Leyla, who had clearly been taking drugs a lot longer than she let on.
David was disgusted that her behaviour had led to the breakdown of two relationships: Suzy and Vanessa as well as Jai and Laurel.
He was left with no choice but to give Leyla an ultimatum and insisted that she must get help or he would have no choice but to tell Liam.
Leyla seemed to agree but not long after she went to see dealer Callum however as she approached his car she decided not to buy the drugs.
Callum insisted that she would soon be back in touch for more, knowing that Leyla was an addict. Even though David has given Leyla a chance to turn her life around, viewers are insisting that he should tell Liam about her drug problem before things get worse.
