Emmerdale viewers were left in tears tonight as Lisa Dingle finally told her daughter Belle that she was dying.
In heartbreaking scenes, Lisa returned to the Dales to break the news that she was suffering from a terminal heart condition.
This evening, Belle was excited at the prospect of both of her parents finally returning home and she prepared a welcome home party.
But she was left utterly devastated after discovering the truth and viewers were in floods of tears.

Belle had been blissfully unaware about the real reason her parents were coming home - to tell the family that Lisa is dying.
Zak and Lisa were overwhelmed by the joyous reception they receive and begin to feel the pressure of telling the rest of the Dingles the news.

However when Charity began to get upset Belle became concerned and Lisa finally told her that she was dying.
The Dingles were left devastated by the news and Belle was deeply upset to find out that Charity knew about Lisa's illness before she did.
Later on in the week Lisa admits to Zak that she is scared of dying and is frightened to think about what will happen to her.
After trying to comfort her, a heartbroken Zak goes missing. Will he be ok?
