Emmerdale fans in meltdown over 'pathetic' drama as shooter identified, Noah buried and Cain survives

Emmerdale fans were left underwhelmed as the flashback scenes were 'absolutely pathetic' and proved to be a lot less dramatic than they wished.

The ITV hit soap has treated viewers to a flash forward scene at the start of each show which predicted characters' fates.

During tonight's episode we got to see the visions become a reality and after Gabby shot a gun in the woods last night convinced it was Jamie Tate we finally found out it was Dawn's dad Will who was actually the one shot as viewers previously predicted.

Elsewhere viewers found out it was in fact Kerry who buried Noah in the grave and at first it seemed as though it could be the end for the youngster however David came to the rescue and saved him.

The drama didn’t stop there - Cain and Al have been at each other's throats for a long time and tonight was no different. The pair ended up getting into a car chase after Amy gave Al Noah's laptop with all the pictures of Chloe on.

However it all took a dramatic turn when we found out his sister Chas was in the car with him when it suddenly flipped over after he attempted to turn the car around.

At first it seemed like it could be the end for the pair after the horror crash however after some struggle and unexpected help for enemy Al they managed to get out of the car before an electricity pole came tumbling down on it.

Despite all the drama going on viewers were left underwhelmed at the scenes with @JordanPhelps21 Tweeting “Well that was absolutely pathetic, all that build up and no one dies!!!! #Emmerdale and award for most pathetic Soap goes too.”

@steffxrs said: I don't know about anyone else but I feel like this weeks episodes of emmerdale are boring and unnecessary idk how we even got to this point #emmerdale.

@laurenangelama1 commented: So no one dies this week I thought someone does #Emmerdale.

Some viewers couldn’t help but slam "hypocrite" Kerry who wanted Noah to pay for his actions forgetting she previously killed two people.

@shanilouise2012 Tweeted: “Show is ridiculous!! Kerry has done far worse than Noah and just struts around on her high horse! I hope charity gets hold of her!!!!”

@AmandaM41731085 commented: “#emmerdale Kerry is a hypocrite, after she killed Vanessa's and Tracey's dad.”

@Funkygibbons said: “Kerry never handed herself into the police after killing Frank.” While @IntenseMisery questioned: “Kerry the murderer has suddenly got morals? #Emmerdale.”
