Emmerdale fans have been left on a bombshell worried about Paddy Kirk’s wellbeing after he went missing.
During tonight’s episode, estranged wife Chas discovered Paddy had slept with old flame Mandy Dingle. By this point Paddy, who is struggling to come to terms with Chas being unfaithful to him, had already disappeared.
Confronting Mandy, Chas shouted “I go away for one night and you have sex with my husband.” While, Mandy hit back: “Oh get off your high horse, lady.”

A current major Emmerdale storyline is Paddy’s dive into depression aiming to shed light on the battle some men feel with their mental health. Throughout the edition this evening Paddy was framed by himself in silence.
It concluded at night with Paddy, seemingly aimlessly, walking down a busy main road. Lots of Emmerdale fans have taken to Twitter to show their concern for the soap favourite.
We saw @Brentmatthews post: “This is so upsetting but brilliantly done as the way Paddy feels on #Emmerdale is the way I have been feeling for some time now. This story is very sad but I’m so happy it’s being shown.”
While @_Pixxalt added: “I hate seeing Paddy like this. It is actually so sad.” Another viewer @Alexacp78: “I really feel for Paddy.”
While @steveabbott07 said: “Well done #emmerdale on tackling another tough issue. Paddy absolutely nailed it so far.”
Elsewhere, In tonight’s episode, Cathy Hope celebrated her 16th birthday but sadly the big bash was something of a damp squib. Not only did the occasion look rather tame, the guestlist was barely packed.
When Bernice Blackstock arrived she said: “It is hardly jumping in here.” Even worse, Cathy’s dad Bob embarrassed her by bringing up the teen’s recent period struggles.
In an attempt to make things better, but failing hopelessly, Bob tried to make things better with Cathy. He said: “I know this is kind of my fault.”
Bob then promised Cathy a ‘huge blowout’ for her 17th which is clearly not what his daughter was after. The episode concluded with Cathy being consoled by Bernice following her recent struggles around her heavy periods.
Aside from more serious matters, many Emmerdale fans took to Twitter to make light of the big party. It looks like many are glad they gave it a miss.
One viewer @aaron_dingles said: “Party in the local B&B office, absolutely wild #emmerdale.” While @Samanth22356123 added: “I’ve actually been to wakes more fun than this 16th party #Emmerdale."
