Emmerdale fans are left divided over the ITV soaps new format change on the same night Gabby shot an as-yet unidentified character with a stolen gun.
The ITV soap hit soap is currently airing a special flash forward week where the start of the episode shows hints at future scenes which tease huge danger for many characters.
During tonight's episode of the ITV soap we discovered Noah Dingle will end up in an empty grave, begging an unknown assailant to let him free.

But he struggles to get free as the anonymous suspect covers the grave over, leaving the stalking schoolboy in total darkness.
Meanwhile Cain Dingle will get into a horrific car crash in which viewers will see the village alpha male’s body slam into the steering wheel and get covered in blood.
But it remains unknown how the accident happens and who else is involved but it hasn't stopped soap watchers from sharing their fears that Cain could die.
Away from the flashback scenes there was plenty of drama going on in the Dales with Gabby stealing a gun. She later went into the woods in search of 'dead' Jamie, who she is convinced is back.
Issuing a warning, Gabby yelled: "I will shoot you" and as she spun around she appeared to accidentally fire the gun as she fell to the floor.
Gabby woke up but was disoriented with a bloody head from the gun she then spotted a mystery lifeless body on the floor, which had been hit by her gunshot as she ran away terrified over what she had done.
Divided viewers went straight to social media to share their reaction to Gabby shooting someone and the soap's new flashback scenes.

@teenamassam Tweeted: “Can’t keep up with these flashbacks… #Emmerdale.” While @D1Smurphy added: “So it's not just the flashback intro all the soaps are getting into, it's the 'it's all kicking off' ones eh? Just have a woodland battle royale and have done at this point."
