Emmerdale viewers were rather distracted during Wednesday evening's episode as they witnessed an emotional scene between Faith and Sam Dingle.
Faith is coming to terms with the fact that she is dying and is trying to spend as much time as possible with her loved ones.
The latest episode of the ITV soap saw Faith ( Sally Dexter ) and Sam (James Hooton) have a brief heart-to-heart after going fishing together.
"I just want to spend time with the people in my family before I go," she told Sam as he accused her of putting a "dampener" on their day.
"Look, we don't have to pretend none of this is happening do we?" Faith said to Sam before asking: "Was it like this when Alice was dying?"
"Was what like this?" Sam replied as Faith probed: "Well, did you make lots of memories?"
"Yeah, of course," Sam told her, referring to his wife Alice who died in July 2006.
"You must have felt so helpless when she was getting to the end?" Faith then said as Sam explained: "She were in bad pain and I couldn't stand by and watch her suffering."
"Must have been the hardest thing you've ever done, helping her to end it like that?" Faith commented before Sam admitted: "I try not to think about that bit."
"It must have been a relief too?" Faith said as Sam quickly fired back: "It's a relief for the person that dies, not for them that's been left behind. I'll never go through that again, not for anyone."
Faith quickly realised that she couldn't ask Sam for his help to end her life and quickly changed the conversation, but viewers were distracted by her hair as opposed to the storyline.
Taking to Twitter, one person asked: "What’s with Faiths scrunchie?! Did she lay on it and it’s stuck there? # emmerdale."
Another said: "How the buggery is Faith’s scrunchie staying put?! #Emmerdale."
And a third person joked: "Currently questioning my sanity over Faith’s scrunchie. #emmerdale."
Someone else added: "I have never seen a redundant scrunchy in use before. #Faith #Emmerdale."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
