Emmerdale fans distracted by 'blatant' gaffe as Kim Tate prepares for Dawn's wedding

Emmerdale viewers were distracted as they spotted a "blatant" gaffe during tonight's episode.

Monday's edition of the long-running soap continued to explore the lead up to Dawn Taylor and Billy Fletcher's wedding day.

Billy and Dawn have endured a turbulent time in the Yorkshire village as the two were targeted by the murderous Meena Jutla.

The evil nurse fled the village for Glasgow earlier this month, which has allowed Billy and Dawn's romance to blossom.

The two are now preparing to tie the knot and Dawn was trying to get in the bridal spirit on the latest episode.

Her step-mum Kim Tate discovered the date of the planned wedding, but struggled to drum up any excitement about the big day.

She confided in Will Taylor, who offered her some words of encouragement.

However, viewers following the show on Twitter were distracted by the "plastic" fruit in the bowl on the dinner table.
