Eagle-eyed Emmerdale fans were stunned to spot a former actor in a new BBC show.
Alex Lincoln, who played Jamie, arrived in Emmerdale in April 2019 to attend an interview for a role at the Emmerdale Veterinary Surgery. Over the years, his storylines included his affair with Belle Dingle, romance with Dawn Taylor and feud with mum Kim Tate.
Last year, Jamie faked his own death after learning he was going to be a father again after sleeping with Gabby Thomas. His deceit was confirmed after the death of his ex-wife Andrea as he reunited with daughter Millie.

However, Emmerdale fans were shocked to see Alex Lincoln in new BBC drama Everything I Know About Love. The show is an adaptation of Dolly Alderton’s bestselling memoir of the same name that focusses on surviving your 20s.
Alex appears in four episodes of the show, playing a waiter named Rege and a love-interest to Amara. The BBC series is quite different to Emmerdale, causing some viewers to be surprised by his appearance.
Taking to Twitter, Daniel said: "Well, we certainly didn't ever see anything like that on #Emmerdale @AlexanderLinc12 #EverythingIKnowAboutLove."
Dawn Taylor tweeted: "I’ve just started watching everything I know about love and it’s good to see @AlexanderLinc12 back on screen again."
And Kate said: "NOT JAMIE TATE IN EVERYTHING I KNOW ABOUT LOVE."
