Emmerdale fans devastated over 'racist attacker' but recognise actor

Emmerdale fans were left devastated as they saw the extent of Billy's injuries after a racially motivated attack in the village.

With Billy lying in a hospital bed, Ethan Anderson has found himself in an difficult situation as he's now set to defend attacker Jordan after becoming determined to make a good impression at work.

As the storyline unfolded, fans were left upset after seeing Billy in hospital and furious at the 'smug' looking Jordan.

Taking to Twitter, @macnamara60 commented: "I had thought this attacker might have been innocent until that smug little look he gave the copper just then. #Emmerdale"

Jordan has been arrested on suspicion of the assault but viewers were startled to recognise the attacker from a different popular show. Jack Parr is best known for playing Dougie Bill in the final series of Peaky Blinders

One viewer penned: "“Have they seriously just cast a Peaky Blinders actor (Jack Parr) in the role of Billy's racist attacker only for said attack to happen off screen - seriously!”
