Emmerdale fans demand 'missing' characters come back

Emmerdale fans have taken to social media to demand two "missing" characters are brought back to the soap.

Gabby and Nicky's wedding is fast-approaching, with viewers knowing Nicky's feelings are not real and that Gabby is likely set for heartbreak.

Meanwhile Nicola has been gunning for Moira after a crash that injured Angelica, and Jimmy and Tom have decided to have a fresh start without Carl's shadow hanging over them.

Elsewhere Dan is struggling financially, having had to admit to Victoria he couldn't afford two pizzas at the Hide, and Chloe appears to be falling for Mack all over again as they bond over their shared son, baby Reuben.

With all this going on, some fans have still managed to spot some "missing" characters. And many are calling for them to come back to Emmerdale.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday evening, Lydia said: "Have I not been watching properly or have Dawn and Billy gone missing?" @Onelifee3 said: "Where have Dawn & Billy gone? Did they leave?"

Charlie said: "Where is Dawn? Bring her and Billy back please @emmerdale" and Tracy said: "Has Dawn left the village??"

Emmerdale airs each night this week at 7pm on ITV and ITVX
