Emmerdale fans were quick to call out a faux pas as they tuned into Monday's episode of the ITV soap.
During the latest instalment, Mandy Dingle was seen meddling in son Vinny's love life as she tried to avoid a potential reunion with Liv Flaherty.
Vinny was seen telling his mum that Liv is back on the wagon again and has decided to quit alcohol, but Mandy was quick to laugh it off.
However, this angered Vinny and he told her to stop interfering before asking if his mum wanted anything from the shop.
Accidentally leaving his mobile phone behind, Vinny strolled off and Mandy was left glancing at the device when a text message from Liv came through.
Mandy quickly opened the message, which read: "Nice chatting earlier, fancy meeting up?"
She wasted no time in deleting the text, and even went as far as to block Liv on Vinny's phone - meaning she can no longer contact him.
However, viewers of the ITV show were baffled as to how Mandy even got into Vinny's phone and were keen to point out the blunder.
Taking to Twitter, one person posted: "Another phone with no password. WTF? #Emmerdale."
A second viewer asked: "Why don't people in soaps lock their phones? #Emmerdale."
A third person added: "#Emmerdale people in emmerdale especially young ones are always leaving their mobiles behind. Oh yea that always happens to young people."

Another confused viewer pondered: "Do people not have locks on their phones in #Emmerdale."
Someone else said: "Number one soap rule: Keep a password on your phone #emmerdale."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
