Emmerdale viewers were left unimpressed as they questioned Marlon’s “dramatic recovery” following his recent stroke.
Since his stroke, he has been doing everything he can to get back on his feet and even set himself a huge challenge ahead of his and Rhona’s wedding.
Marlon has been getting a lot of help from everyone around him and with help from Kit he has so far managed to stand using parallel bars and take a step using a walking frame.
During tonight's episode of the ITV soap he revealed that he wanted to go even further for his wedding and insisted that he wanted to be on his feet and walk down the aisle.

While looking through wedding magazines with Paddy, talk soon turned to who will be best man. Marlon joked that he’s going to ask Billy to be his best man, as he might have more luck.
Unimpressed Paddy fell for Marlon’s trick, but he laughed when his mate confessed he was winding him up and asked him to be his best man.
That moment prompted Marlon to make a huge decision as he told Paddy that Rhona won’t walk down the aisle but instead he will.
Marlon will tell Rhona to arrive at the wedding venue first and then, in an emotional surprise, he will walk to her, not the other way round.
The pair both thought it was a great idea however viewers insisted it was “unrealistic” as they questioned his “dramatic recovery”.
