There’s so much going on in Emmerdale at the minute that it can be a real challenge to keep up.
As Emmerdale fans know, we are currently working through a ‘whodunnit?’ after Caleb Milligan was mysteriously pushed off a cliff. Caleb Milligan, played by Will Ash, is the son of Frank Tate.
He has been plotting to destroy Frank's ex-wife Kim Tate in revenge for her part in his father’s death. In true soap fashion, secrets don’t stay secrets.
Elsewhere, there’s a lot of loose ends to tie up. We also might see a return of an Emmerdale favourite or two.
Take a scroll below to see what is coming up in Emmerdale over the coming months.
Nicky’s fate
Potentially Nicky’s future is tied to that of Caleb’s. Nicky’s life is in tatters after the plot of him and his father Caleb. Nicky said: “I don’t know where Nicky goes from here when the secret inevitably comes out. Although, I’d like him to stick around.”
Returning favourite
We’ll soon see Tracy back in the soap with alter ego Amy Walsh teasing her Emmerdale return. She recently confirmed she was back on set filming.
Tracy was last seen in Emmerdale village during the soap's 50th anniversary celebrations where the storm brought chaos and carnage to the lives of your favourite characters.
We’ll bring you more on Tracy’s return when we have further details.
What next for Wendy and Liam?
Viewers saw Wendy and Liam start a somewhat surprising affair. Things came to an end quickly although there have been suggestions the flame could be reignited.
We’ll have to keep an eye on this one and see what happens next. There's likely to be more twists and turns where this one is concerned.
Amelia’s safety at risk
Amelia is set to dive into the dangerous world of social media in upcoming scenes. Amelia will be thrilled when someone wishes to donate money to her for her posts, but is soon taken aback by a creepy message.
The storyline is likely to dive into the potential risks of the social media landscape.
Could Jaime finally return?
As we've previously reported, Alexander Lincoln has discussed the prospect of reprising his role of Jamie. He said: “I loved the show. I lived in Leeds for two-and-a-half-years.
“I miss everyone from the show deeply. No one knew who I was before it — I’d done some very tiny things. It was my initiation into the acting world.
“I can never thank them enough for that experience. But I don’t know, to be honest. There have been talks. But for now, I really want to focus on this year: I want to produce, start my own scripts.
“There are other parts I want to play. There are time constraints. Being on the show, it’s such hard work — you don’t have time to do anything else. Booking a holiday is hard enough.”
We'll have to see what happens with that one.
