Emmerdale's fictional village in the Yorkshire Dales is one of the most recognisable settings in British television.
The village was known as Beckindale up until 1993 when the survivors from the tragic plane crash episode changed the name to what we know today. The wholesome farm has been the scene of some of TV's most dramatic moments which has ensured people have kept tuning into the show since the rebrand.
However, we thought we'd take a look at how our favourite soap actors live when they're away from the familiar settings of the Yorkshire Dales. Whether its Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden's modern mansion or Jeff Hordley's peaceful countryside retreat, the actors have given fans an insight into their lives off-screen through their social media channels.

We've rounded up the most stunning homes of our favourite Emmerdale stars below.
Chris Bisson
The actor has played Jai Sharma on Emmerdale since 2009. The 46-year-old has been a mainstay in the Yorkshire village ever since and has been involved in some of the ITV show's most dramatic storylines.
Chris took to Instagram to share some exciting news away from the screen as revealed his family have embarked on an exciting renovation project. Chris has posted regular updates of the build as he has got involved to help out.
However, he issued a post earlier this month to reveal the project is proving to be more expensive than he envisioned. He said: "There was a lot of money simply disappearing into the ground. Plus EVERYTHING is now a lot more expensive than when we were planning the project. The steel price went through the roof - up 60% - and that's just one element.
"We'll have to claw that back further down the line... So, in classic Grand Designs style, it's already apparent that compromises will have to be made later."
Jeff Hordley and Zoe Henry
The actor best known for his portrayal of Cain Dingle shares a stunning home in the Yorkshire Dales with co-star Zoe Henry. Jeff suffers with Crohn's disease and modified his diet to treat the illness after a nutritionist recommended he follow a strict detox and cut alcohol, sugar, meat, wheat and dairy from his diet.
To help with the new lifestyle, Jeff and Zoe have installed an allotment in their rural retreat and cook everything from scratch. Other updates shared on their social media channels show a minimalist living room with a cosy wood burning stove and large comfortable cushions.

Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden
The Emmerdale couple regularly post updates on Instagram from their stunning modern mansion where they live with children Buster, Bowie and Ace.
The stars, who are known for their roles as Debbie Dingle and David Metcalfe, share a love of the iconic musician who inspired the name of their middle child as a portrait of David Bowie is proudly displayed in their stylish home. They recently posted a hilarious TikTok video with fans, which showed them assembling their extravagant Christmas tree in front of the ornate artwork.
Charley has also shared snaps from the couple's bedroom, which is a cosy grey haven with a huge, sumptuous bed complete with button detailing and a tall headboard. The bed is flanked by a tall, floor to ceiling window, kitted out with plantation shutters. The kitchen is a modern affair, with sleek, handle-less charcoal coloured cupboards and a large stainless island with built in wooden shelving.
