Emmerdale character 'working against' Caleb as they 'expose him' to Kim Tate

Emmerdale aired worrying scenes for Nicky Miligan and Caleb Miligan on Wednesday night, as Will Taylor appeared to be on to Caleb's odd behaviour.

With Caleb deciding to take the day off and being nowhere to be seen just hours after a huge money-making business offer, Will was worried.

He made it clear to wife Kim Tate that he didn't trust her business partner, and had been keeping tabs on Caleb.

What he and Kim are yet to uncover is that Caleb is the father of Home Farm nanny Nicky, and the pair are working together to destroy Kim and leave her with nothing.

Kim recently learned that a secret son of her ex-husband Frank Tate was now in the picture, and wanted what they were owed.

She has no idea that Caleb, Faith Dingle's son, is the mystery heir and that he isn't just after his inheritance, but he wants everything she has.

In the latest episode, Will questioned where Caleb was as he vanished from Home Farm, despite he and Kim investing in a new business offer hours earlier.

On Tuesday night, Caleb revealed he'd managed to get a better deal for them, meaning they had saved some money on the new stud farm they were working on together.

So with Caleb AWOL during the latest episode and not having paid Kim her share of the money they got back, Will was quick to call him out.

Fresh from Caleb advising her to put an offer down as well as encouraging her to change solicitors and join his firm, Will shared his concern about his persuasive nature and his interest in Kim's business.

He worried Caleb was taking advantage of Kim and her fortune and that he might be up to something, calling out his advice to Kim and his actions.

What he didn't know was that Nicky was upstairs and listening to the entire conversation over the baby monitor.

He heard Will sharing his suspicions about Caleb, calling his actions "off" and saying there was something about him he didn't trust.

While Kim was disapproving, she did make it clear that she "pulled the strings" and checked any contracts to avoid any issues.

Nicky called his dad and eventually convinced him to meet up with him in the village, something Caleb called out as he wasn't keen on people seeing them together.

But Nicky told him he needed to get back to Home Farm and get Kim the money she was owed, to get Will off of their backs.

Caleb didn't seem bothered though and insisted he would enjoy his day off and return the following day, in no rush to get the money to Kim or win back over Will.

Nicky warned him that Will was painting him in a bad light and that if he wasn't careful, Kim would lose trust in him - and soon enough Caleb and Nicky were rowing about their plan.

Caleb told his son he was winding him up and needed to stop approaching him in the view of others, but Nicky was fed up with doing what Caleb told him to.

So have the cracks started to show, and will the pair get caught out?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
