Emmerdale episode moved to new slot in major schedule shake up

Emmerdale is set to be moved from its usual time slot on Thursday, April 6 in a schedule shakeup. The ITV hit soap will air at 7pm, which means there also won’t be a Thursday hour of Emmerdale.

The broadcaster will instead show the women's football at 7.30pm until 10.10pm but it's not all bad news as fans will be given an extra long episode on Friday night as the soap will air a hour long special starting at 7pm.

The England v Brazil match on Thursday night is set to kick off at 7.45pm. Laura Woods presents all the action from the Finalissima between the European and Copa America champions at Wembley Stadium.

Emmerdale spoilers show, next week, Amelia will confide in Manpreet Sharma about some concerns she has. Teen Amelia, who recently welcomed baby daughter Esther, finds a lump on her chest and immediately fears the worst.

As she conceals her fears, she eventually visits the medical surgery and seeks advice from neighbour Manpreet who is a doctor there.

When Amelia tells Manpreet about the lump she’s found on her upper body, the doctor refers her to the breast clinic. Viewers will see Amelia in tears after receiving a phone call asking her to visit the clinic.

We’ve recently reported, Daisy Campbell, 19, has signed a new deal to remain part of Emmerdale. Daisy explained: “I’d love to stay on it for as long as I can. I recently signed for another year and couldn’t be happier.

“But I never take it for granted because you never know when they might kill you off. It can happen to anyone.”
