The most riveting 'who did it' storyline has come to an end already as Nicky has been revealed as the person who pushed Caleb off a cliff and sent him into a coma.
The episode on Tuesday began with police running their investigations and ruling out suspect after suspect. Meanwhile, doctors were telling family that they were "taking one day at a time" and that Caleb's life was on the line.
Mackenzie Boyd was arrested for the crime, but it turns out it was not him. Caleb was in fact pushed by his own son Nicky over the ravine.
In the past, Caleb made Nicky's life very difficult, coercing him to participate in a plan to harm Kim Tate. Despite Nicky confessing to Caleb that he is gay, Caleb insisted that he marry Gabby Thomas to gain access to Home Farm's wealth.
When Nicky couldn't go through with the plan, Caleb unleashed a vicious attack on him. After the incident, Nicky left the village and hadn't been seen since. However, he reappeared at his father's hospital bedside, visibly upset and in tears.
Nicky, who swore on his son's life that he was innocent, broke down into tears as he sat next to Caleb's hospital bed. There, Nicky confessed, saying: "I thought I had killed you".
The revelation stunned a few fans, but many rushed to say "they knew it", given how Caleb had made his son's life hell. On Twitter, many fans said they thought it was Nicky.
