Emmerdale fans will see two characters return to the ITV soap this year, and one comeback will "delight" viewers according to soap boss Jane Hudson.
The show's Executive Producer spilled that there was a big return on the way for a former villain, 10 years on from his last scenes on the show.
Carl King's son Tom King will be back and is set to rekindle his romance with Belle Dingle, while there's still more details to be revealed about his return storyline.
The last time Tom was on screen, he harassed his former stepmother Chas Dingle before dumping fellow teen Belle.
There's another character returning too in the summer, and they are set to come back amid huge scenes on the soap.
While the return has been confirmed by Jane, she has kept quiet on the identity of the character and what brings them back.
She did say it had something to do with an upcoming wedding on the show, having confirmed one or two weddings are on the cards.
Jane refused to confirm which characters would be getting married in the summer at either event, while Gabby Thomas is currently planning a wedding to Nicky Miligan.
Gabby doesn't know she's being used by Nicky though, so it's not known if the wedding will even go ahead.
Speaking to The Mirror and other press about the big returns, Jane spilled: "You all know we love a summer wedding, I can tell you there is at least one more wedding coming up before the end of the summer, and we will have a familiar face returning by the end of the summer which I think fans are gonna be absolutely delighted with, as they return to the show.
"We have got plenty coming up. The returning character is coming back for one of the weddings. One of the weddings will be more traditional than Charity and Mackenzie's, there will be no A-Team wigs or vans happening."
On Tom's return, she said: "Jimmy's nephew Tom will be coming back into the show and he has been living overseas for some time. He's back in England and is qualified as a vet, so I think we all know where he is gonna be working.
"Tom and Belle have a history, they see each other and rekindle things and we will be on a journey with Tom and Belle for some time as we play out stories for them."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
