Former Emmerdale and Coronation Street star Charles Foster has died.
Soap fans might remember his role as judge David Connolly in Emmerdale while he also had a brief part in Corrie. Charles Foster was also one of the faces of the North West's Granada TV channel in the 70s, 80s and 90.
He previously worked on Catchphrase and The Krypton Factor as an ITV announcer and more recently provided the voiceover on Judge Rinder. Paying tribute to Charles, Granada Reports' producer Rob Jaskowski said: "Charles was such a nice person. I remember being star stuck on my first day at Granada on work placement in 1984 when I sat with him in the canteen at Quay Street.
