The Voice presenter Emma Willis and her Busted star husband Matt once made their kids sign contracts before trying fun activities like trampolining.
Emma, 46, and Matt, 39, insisted their three kids put pen to paper with a promise to never miss a week once they had taken up a new hobby.
Singer Matt says making Isabelle, 13, Ace, 11, and six-year-old Trixie sign the contracts taught them about commitment.
He said: “I used to be really weird about them trying things and stopping them, like clubs and things like that.
“I was like, ‘You want to do this? We can do this, we can put out these hours on a Saturday morning to go to this thing, but I want you to sign a contract for 12 weeks – and whatever happens… birthday parties, anything like that, it doesn’t matter, we’re doing it every Saturday for 12 weeks’.
"That was about commitment. But despite his best intentions, the idea fell by the wayside."
Matt, who appears on Celebrity Gogglebox with Emma, said: “It became something where we all felt a bit of shame and we’re letting the thing down. Who cares if you don’t make trampolining?
“But you hear about these things and you kind of trial them out.
“I don’t ever begrudge having to drive them around and do these annoying things that I hate, or go to kids’ parties and talk to other parents which I don’t particularly love. I want to be there for them.”
