EastEnders star Emma Barton is getting ready to waltz into the BBC ballroom later this year, as she has been confirmed as one of the celebrities joining the 2019 Strictly Come Dancing line-up.
Let's take a look at her rocky road of romance, ahead of her debut on the dance floor.
The soap star has had many steamy romances and shocking splits on screen, especially in her famous role as EastEnders Honey Mitchell, but the actress has attempted to keep her love life outside of Albert Square under wraps in recent years.
She currently appears to be single, but has previously been linked to co-stars Jamie Borthwick and Joel Beckett, as well as TV presenter, Stephen Mulhern .

Emma joined the cast of EastEnders in 2005 and stayed permanently in the role until 2008. She later returned in 2015 to reprise her role as Honey Mitchell and has continued to play her throughout 2019. Honey's tumultuous relationship with her husband, Billy Mitchell, came to a devastating end in 2018.
Emma’s character Honey is now caught up in an awkward love triangle, as her new boyfriend Adam Bateman is having a scandalous affair with Habiba Ahmed, despite making plans for the future with Honey.
Even though her character's love life and relationships seem explosive, off-screen Emma keeps a low profie.

In 2016, Emma's EastEnders co-star Jamie Borthwick, 24, announced his crush on her. In a candid interview, the star revealed he had fancied Emma since he was 14. However, Emma soon shut down potential romance rumours, claiming he was more like 'a brother to her'.
The 42-year-old actress was previously married to lawyer Nigel Stoat. The pair wed in 2002 but split in 2005, with reports suggesting that Emma left her lawyer husband so she could date a hunky policeman named Harry Waddingham.
She became friends with dashing cop Harry after being introduced through his actress sister, who was a close friend of Emma's and appeared with her in the West End musical Grease.
In 2007, reports suggested that Emma started a two-year romance with ex-EastEnders heartthrob Joel Beckett, who played Jake Moon from 2004 to 2006.

After their relationship dated, Emma went on to date her most public romance yet.
The soap star became the girlfriend of TV presenter Stephen Mulhern, after they met in 2008 and starred in numerous pantomimes together.
Unfortunately, their relationship came to a “natural end” in 2011, according to the Britain's Got More Talent host .
Since her romance with Stephen ended, Emma has kept details of her private life concealed.

The BBC show is known not only for its entertainment but for its Strictly Curse, where some couples not only set the dancefloor alight with x-rated moves, but continue to get just as steamy off set.
The actress is set to star in the 2019 series of Strictly Come Dancing, alongside footballer David James, comedian Chris Ramsay and YouTuber Saffron Barker .
The remaining celebrity contestants joining the 2019 series of Strictly Come Dancing will be announced in due course. Rumoured celebs to be added to the line-up include Jodie Comer, Una Healy, Michelle Visage and Chris Evans.
