Emirates to host Arsenal clash with Wolsburg in Women’s Champions League

Arsenal will play the home leg of their Women’s Champions League quarter-final against Wolfsburg at the Emirates Stadium, the cub have announced.

The Gunners played their group stage clash with European champions Barcelona at the ground in December and will be back at the 60,000-seat stadium when the knockout stages begin, with the first leg scheduled for Wednesday, March 23.

Attendance will be capped at 10,000 fans, with tickets costing £12 for adults and just £6 for children.

Jonas Eidevall’s side are already set to play their home north London derby against Tottenham at the Emirates the following weekend and the club are offering a discounted ticket packages for fans wishing to attend both games.

Arsenal are the only English side left in the competition after finishing second to Barcelona, despite being hammered 4-1 by Hoffenheim in their final group game.

The Gunners sit top of the Women’s Super League, four points clear of defending champions Chelsea, who have a game in hand.
