One of the world's largest airlines is on the lookout for people looking for their careers to take off with an open day in Newcastle.
Emirates operates five weekly flights from Newcastle International Airport to Dubai, with flights continuing on from the Middle Eastern hub to destinations around the world. However, applicants from the North East could be put onto any of its services, and there's no guarantee it'll be the one between Newcastle and Dubai.
The airline is looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering simple yet personalised and impeccable hospitality while creating memorable moments for its customers. Ideal candidates will lead confidently and take control when managing aircraft service, security and safety procedures, with all crew to receive training in Dubai.

Those attending are expected to bring an up-to-date CV in English and a recent photograph. Though walk-ins are admitted on the day, it's advised that candidates pre-register.
Perks of the job include concessional travel benefits for themselves and family and friends, as well as a tax-free salary, company-provided accommodation, free transport to and from work, medical cover, and exclusive discounts for shopping and leisure activities in Dubai.
The Emirates cabin crew recruitment day takes place on September 30 at the Maldron Hotel, Newcastle. For more information, visit the Emirates careers website.
