Eminem's stunt double, Ryan Shepard, has tragically died after being hit by a truck while crossing the street.
Ryan, who worked with the rapper in the early 2000s, died in Washington in late January, his brother Kyle told TMZ.
The 40-year-old was rushed to hospital after being hit by a pickup truck, but sadly it was too late and he died.
Eminem worked with Ryan when he appeared as his photo double and stood in for the rapper as his superhero character Rap Boy at the MTV Movie Awards.
In 2002, he joined Eminem for his Anger Management Tour and appeared as his double in D12's Purple Hills.
After his work with Eminem ended, Ryan went on to work as a ride mechanical engineer at Disney before going on to work as a test automation engineer at Elon Musk's SpaceX.
According to his LinkedIn page, he was also working freelance as Lead Animatronics EngineerLead Animatronics Engineer with California-basedGarner Holt Productions and was also the CEO of a company called RS Robotics.
His bio read: "Creative Engineer with a passion for Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Automation. Experienced in Machining and Prototype Fabrication.
"Specialties: Expertise Mechanical Engineering Design & Analysis, Automation, Robotics, and Programming. Well versed in all Adobe Creative Suite and most CAD and programming languages. I thrive on doing the impossible as well as blank page design."
He leaves behind two children, a seven-year-old and 11-year-old.
