Emily Ratajkowski 'ends marriage' with husband Sebastian Bear-McClard after 4 years

Emily Ratajkowski and husband Sebastian Bear-McClard have split up after four years of marriage.

The model, 31, is believed to have ended the relationship and is said to be focusing on her son.

A source told PEOPLE : "They split recently. It was Em's decision. She is doing okay. She is strong and focused on her son. She loves being a mom."

It comes just days after Emily was spotted without her wedding ring in Instagram posts and while running errands, sparking rumours of a break-up.

The couple were first linked together romantically in 2018 and only dated for a few weeks before they wed in a secret ceremony in New York.

She previously opened up about how their relationship first began during an appearance on Busy Tonight.

"We knew each other for a long time before and he likes to joke 'yeah everyone thinks we got married quickly, but you vetted me for two years,'" Emily said.

The couple welcomed their first child together, baby son Sylvester Apollo, in April 2021.

Emily was criticised at the time for mum-shaming when she showed off her enviable figure and flat stomach just 11 days after Sly was born.

One body positivity champion, Alex Light, commented, saying, "I understand why [the photos] make so many women feel bad... seeing someone just 11 days after birth looking like a supermodel, for lack of a better term, might very well be detrimental to your mental health."

A few months later in June, Piers Morgan blasted her for the way she was holding Sly – saying it was like a sack of potatoes. He wrote: ‘That’s not how you hold a baby @emrata – and your millions of followers shouldn’t be encouraged to do the same. Happy to give you some tips if you need them."

The American model, who was born in London, shot to fame in 2013 when she appeared naked in the controversial video for Robin Thicke's hit single, Blurred Lines.

The video was slammed for being sexist and degrading to women. At the time, Emily defended it, saying it 'gave me an opportunity to say the things that I felt about feminism today and about women in general in pop culture." But she has since said she 'regrets' her involvement in it.
