Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis has confirmed the Arctic Monkeys will headline the Pyramid Stage tonight.
The band's set was thrown into question earlier this week when they cancelled their show in Marlay Park, Dublin, on Wednesday. The rock band put the cancellation down to frontman Alex Turner being diagnosed with acute laryngitis.
Now, Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis has confirmed that Arctic Monkeys' headlining set will go ahead tonight, June 23. Broadcasting from the grounds of the festival at Worthy Farm, Zoe Ball asked during her BBC Radio 2 show if the band were still set to play.

Eavis said: “they’re on”, and was met with applause. She added: “It was a little bit close there for a minute and we were thinking about whether we should have a serious back-up plan in place, but no, thankfully they’re on, so that’s great."
Tonight's performance will be the Sheffield band’s third time headlining the festival after topping the bill on 2007 and 2013.
The festival will run until June 25 at the iconic Worthy Farm location, where huge names like Diana Ross performed last year. Singer-songwriter Yusuf Islam, known by his stage name Cat Stevens, will play the coveted "legend slot", which has previously seen the likes of Kylie and Dolly Parton perform.
Guns N' Roses will headline the Pyramid Stage on Saturday, June 24, while Sir Elton John will headline on Sunday, June 25. You can find the full Glastonbury 2023 line up and set times for the whole weekend here.
