Emily Blunt is gearing up for the Oscars and has exciting plans to make it a family affair. The talented actress, nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Oppenheimer, intends to bring her husband, John Krasinski, and her parents to the prestigious event. Blunt shared that she hopes her parents can attend, especially since it coincides with her father's birthday weekend.

Although her two young daughters won't be present at the show, Blunt mentioned that they will be cheering her on from home. She expressed her joy at receiving her first-ever Academy Award nomination, describing how she has been feeling lighter than air and incredibly happy in the lead-up to the event.

In Oppenheimer, a film directed by Christopher Nolan, Blunt portrays Kitty Oppenheimer, the wife of J. Robert Oppenheimer. Her co-stars, Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr., are also nominated for Oscars for their roles in the movie. Blunt expressed gratitude for the bond she shares with her fellow actors, emphasizing the strong camaraderie they have developed throughout their Oppenheimer journey.

The 96th Academy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, are set to take place live on Sunday, March 10, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, starting at 7 p.m. ET. Blunt, along with her family and colleagues, is eagerly anticipating the event and looking forward to celebrating the culmination of their hard work and dedication in the film industry.
