Emily Atack has delighted fans by sharing a theoretical 'plot twist' to The Inbetweeners. The actress and comedian is known for playing Charlotte Hinchcliffe on the E4 comedy series.
The hit show, which originally aired on E4 from 2008 to 2010, followed the misadventures of suburban teenager William McKenzie and his friends Simon Cooper, Neil Sutherland, and Jay Cartwright at the fictional Rudge Park Comprehensive school.
And Emily played Charlotte, the most attractive and popular girl in the school, who has a soft spot for Will, who was played by Simon Bird.
But the 33-year-old clearly thinks there's an opportunity for a spin-off, 13 years after the show last aired. Emily looked stunning as she donned a figure-hugging black gown with feather detailing to the Vanity Fair EE Rising Star Party on Thursday evening (February 2).
A bunch of very family faces came together to celebrate the 2023 EE Rising Star Award nominees at the star-studded event which was the first to take place at up-and-coming London hotspot, JOIA, including Emily.
And she was reunited with Blake Harrison who played Neil in The Inbetweeners. "Plot twist: Charlotte ran off with Neil? @blakeharrisonreal," Emily captioned a beaming snap of the pair on Instagram. And Blake was quick to respond as he wrote: "The sequel no one knew they wanted," in the comments.
Fans were also quick to respond. @david_ellis85 said: "Ahhh always awesome to see reunions!!" @hannahf.87 simply posted: "LOVE." @nikkideemcdonald replied: "Yes what a photo." @patr1ckmccann posted: "Oh my word. I barely recognised him. Loved that show!"
@markymarkh80 shared: "That would be a great spin off series." @paulineeerudd commented: "The reunion we all wanna see." @mrsfayeellis shared: "Now that I can get behind." @stephenmagee8 added: "Best fwends after all this time."
