Emily Atack posts unrecognisable Inbetweeners throwback with her co-star Simon Bird

Emily Atack took a trip down memory lane with an unrecognisable Inbetweeners throwback.

The I'm A Celeb princess was elated to be sent the picture and shared it with her fans on Instagram on Tuesday.

Emily, 30, hoped to cheer up her fans with the blast from the past she had been sent.

In the black and white snap, the actress grinned alongside fellow co-star and on-screen romance Simon Bird.

"Just been sent this of the utterly adorable Simon Bird and I. Really made me smile. #CharlotteAndWill," she captioned the picture.

The popular coming of age sitcom graced televisions screens between 2008 and 2010 before going on to become two feature-length films.

The nostalgic shot made some of Emily's 1.6 million Instagram followers reflect upon the much-loved British show.

"I remember them," wrote Irish model and I'm A Celeb contestant Nadia Forde.

"Best show ever," wrote Love Island's Kem Centinay.

On Monday, the television star expressed her shock at how "ugly" social media had becopme during the pandemic.

"...sadly twitter can be an ugly place and people will always bring politics into it. It was my way of saying that it shouldn’t matter," she said later in the thread.

Emily had been set to go on tour at the end of the year in her comedy show titled Emily Atack Has Left the Group.
