Emily Atack in tears on This Morning over sexual harassment as she's consoled by Holly Willoughby

Emily Atack had to be consoled by Holly Willoughby during an appearance on Tuesday's This Morning, after break down in tears over the 'constant' sexual harassment she faces online.

Emily shot to TV fame over a decade ago as Charlotte Hinchliffe on The Inbetweeners, before going onto compete in Dancing on Ice and I'm A Celebrity, where she was a popular runner up to Harry Redknapp.

These days, Emily is best known for fronting her own ITV series The Emily Atack Show, in which she regularly jokes about her love life and bad luck with men. However, in a BBC documentary that will air on Tuesday, February 1, Emily opens up about how things have taken a dark and unwanted turn, with persistently targeted by men who send her rude messages.

Discussing Emily Atack: Asking For It? with This Morning hosts Holly and Phillip, Emily focused on one of the men who has been harassing her, explaining: "He says that he tucks his children into bed and then comes online to abuse me. Sometimes he asks if I'll get involved with him and his wife, and then he says he wants to do it behind (his) wife's back while the children are asleep.

"He calls himself 'Daddy Dave to me' and constantly says the word 'daddy' which is a really psychologically horrible thing."

As Phillip asked Emily if the perpetrator shows his face, she began to cry, as Holly quickly reached over to comfort her. Urging Emily to find out who is behind the abuse, Phillip added: "You want to be able to track them down and identify them because of what they are putting you through."

Managing to get her words out through tears, Emily replied: ""I'm terrified of exposing someone and then I've ruined their life," to which Holly responding: You don't need to worry about anybody apart from yourself"
