Emily Andre says she has 'no time for herself' as she's always taking the kids somewhere

Emily Andre has admitted she has “no time for herself” due to all the after school activities her kids do.

The 32-year-old wife of Peter Andre is mum to daughter Millie, eight, and five-year-old son Theo.

She is also step-mum to Pete’s older kids who he shares with ex-wife Katie Price, Junior, 16, and 14-year-old Princess.

Opened up about motherhood struggles in her latest column for OK! magazine, Emily shared: “These days I have so little time for myself.

“Between Millie and Theo, they do piano lessons, gymnastics, cheerleading, swimming and dance classes, so I’m always ferrying them off somewhere.”

As well as being a full-time mum, Emily is busy working as a junior doctor at an NHS hospital.

So when she does finally get a bit of time to herself, she wants to make the most of it.

She revealed she has recently started treating herself to a beauty treatment once a month if she can.

And she added grabbing an hour or two of ‘me time’ has become slightly easier since her youngest Theo started school.

Explaining how she unwinds, Emily said: “Usually I’ll sit down with a cup of tea and do absolutely nothing, or sometimes I’ll zone out in front of the telly. I find TV is actually quite a good way to keep my mind quiet.”

She added: “Recently I’ve been treating myself to a beauty treatment once a month too – a massage or I’ll have my legs waxed. I just do something that’s for absolutely nobody else but me. It’s so important.”

Husband Pete said he had been on a bit more hands with the kids on lately now he’s back from touring.

But as the couple don’t have any help with childcare, even when they are working, he admitted life can sometimes feel a bit “full on”.

Back in January, Emily revealed she tends to leave the disciplining to Pete and often “feels like a big sister” to Pete’s older kids, which works well for them.

But she said the key to successful parenting in their household was having a strict routine to stick to.

She told Closer magazine: “I try to keep things consistent for them as much as I can.

“I'm quite strict, especially with stuff like manners. Me and Pete are quite similar, really we both are very much up on honesty, manners, kindness."

Emily has even penned a book for young girls aged 9-13 who are going through puberty.

She wrote it in her capacity as a doctor, but also as she remembers what she went through herself at that age.

Revealing she “felt so conscious at the time”, the book details her struggles with acne, braces and “lack of breasts” – something she hopes will reassure other young girls who are going through the same thing.
