Emily Andre has opened up about husband Peter's 'surprise proposal' that ended up kickstarting her contractions.
The stunning mum and doctor has opened up about this in her latest OK! Magazine column.
"Pete proposed a week before Millie was born, which I wasn’t expecting at all," she explained in her article.
Adding: "Millie arrived three weeks early so maybe it was the surprise of the proposal that brought on my contractions!"
Peter and Emily got together in 2012 after first meeting two years prior.
The loved-up couple announced their engagement to the world in January 2014, weeks after the beaming couple welcomed their first baby daughter into the world.
At the time a 24-year-old Emily opened up to OK! magazine where she detailed how it left her shocked and in tears.
"He always said he'd like to do it before the baby was born and I just thought he'd do it after - I was happy, I didn't need a ring, but it was amazing," she explained.
Pete then added: "She said: 'Are you serious?' and burst into tears - it was so emotional. We lay down in the nursery for ages because it was such a special room to us."
Peter, who also shares kids Junior, 16, and Princess, 14, with ex-wife Katie Price, met Emily under very unusual circumstances.
Back in 2010 Peter was holidaying in Cornwall when he needed emergency surgery for a bout of painful kidney stones.
The doctor who treated the Mysterious Girl singer was Dr Ruaraidh MacDonagh – Emily's dad.
It was here that Peter met a 20-year-old Emily who was a medical student at the time.
Peter once told Cornwall Live : "It’s the most bizarre thing. I had to have an emergency operation on a kidney in Taunton. I wasn’t even in the area but I was transferred there and the on-call consultant was Emily’s dad.
"I was so grateful that I said, 'if there’s anything I can ever do…' I later got him a couple of tickets for the Plymouth show, but he couldn’t make it so his wife Rebecca came along with their daughter, Emily.
"We had a bit of a laugh and I thought, 'oh they’re really nice people'. As time went on, Emily and I realised we had feelings for each other and two years after meeting at Plymouth Pavilions we were married."
Two years after meeting the pair began their relationship and the rest is history.
