A heavy emergency services presence was sparked after a crash in Heywood yesterday. The incident happened on Bury New Road on Saturday afternoon.
Police officers, firefighters and paramedics from the North West Ambulance Service were pictured at the scene. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said the crash involved two cars.
Multiple people suffered minor injuries, the spokesperson added. It has not been confirmed exactly how many people were injured.

Pictures from the scene showed at least two fire engines responding to the incident.
One of the vehicles involved appeared to be a taxi. The front bumper of the other vehicle looked to be badly damaged.
A section of Bury New Road was taped off while crews dealt with the crash. Traffic was diverted away from the area.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Police were called to a two-car road traffic collision on Bury New Road in Heywood. Minor injuries were reported."
