Emergency services attended to an M50 crash earlier today that resulted in injuries.
The collision took place on the M50 southbound near the Cherrywood junction. Heavy traffic delays followed the incident on the M50.
Gardai confirmed that a single vehicle collision had taken place in the area after a car hit the central meridian on the motorway. They also stated that the car's occupants had been brought to hospital.

A Garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí attended the scene of a single vehicle road traffic collision on the M50 at Junction 16 Cherrywood this afternoon, Saturday 1st April 2023 after a car collided with the central meridian. The occupants of the vehicle were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries."
Investigations into the crash remain ongoing.
